F Course Coaching Certificate Content
Coaching youth players requires bringing the game to life in a child’s world. The information and demonstrations will assist you with your coaching endeavors. This philosophy will allow youngsters to play, learn, grow, and enjoy soccer in a non-threatening environment. These four elements should be central to every decision and action taken by coaches and organizations devoted to youth soccer.

Duration

·          The Youth modules are broken down into two separate age-specific classes of 6 hours each; U6-U8, and U8-U10. Field and classroom work are both involved.

Classroom/Theory

·          Philosophy of Coaching, Characteristics of Players, Team Administration, Risk Management, Care and Prevention of Injuries and Modified Laws of the Game.

Field/Practical

·          Age Appropriate Field Activities and Progressions.

Examination

·          There is no examination. Attendance of all 6 hours is mandatory.

DATES:

Part 1 for all age groups:  Friday, Sept 5, 6:30-9:30pm, Liberty MS

Part 2 for U9,u10, u11, and U12 age groups:  Friday, Sept 26, 6:30-9:30pm, Location:  TBA

Part 2 for U5-U8 age groups:  Friday, Sept. 19, 6:30-9:30pm, Location: TBA
