SYA is excited to offer elite U17, U18, and U19 boys’ teams the opportunity to participate in an outdoor league this winter. We see this as an opportunity for these players to continue playing competitive matches in the usual 11 v 11 format which will assist them as they stay match fit for premier tournaments and showcases throughout the winter. This opportunity for teams to continue competitive outdoor play is offered as an alternative to indoor soccer and futsal.

Matches will be played on turf fields in or near Centreville, Virginia on Saturdays beginning December 5, 2009 and carrying through until late February or early March, 2010. These all-weather surface should allow games to go on in the face of adverse Washington winter weather unless there is snow or ice on the fields. Standings will be kept and champions and finalists will be recognized.

Details are being worked out at this time and invitations are being extended. Registration links will be made available as soon as the event is sanctioned.
